A magnificent message from Mary Magdalene for us all; spoken to Rachael through the centre of feminine majesty and power. The depth of the emotional gut.

As I was driving along tonight with my daughter I had Kate Bush; Running Up that Hill come onto the radio. It never fails to speak to me. As I looked up at the nigh on Full Moon in my view I felt it was overwhelmed by red. And through the red stepped Mary Magdalene.

She held me within her hands and looked me straight in the eyes. With no words she just held and supported me in a way that I had never felt before. Unwavering in her stare and her reinforcement, she spoke to my heart without words. The steel she gave my being still stands within me; a strength I and many of us know within ourselves. But this steel in our souls, this steel in our guts, this steel in our wombs, it is rigid and unwavering in me still. It is a gift to me but, not just for me but for all of her daughters. It is focus. It is knowledge and knowing. It is standing in our prowess as sexual beings and as mothers. It is embracing the night as well as the day; the magic as well as the light. It is all that has ever been of every woman which has walked before us. It is our ability to stare unblinkingly at those that may objectify us and not hate but love. Love them that they know themselves so little that they would look to us rather than themselves for how weak we make them feel. For this is the last time that we will ever have to feel this. This is the last generation that will ever have to bear a burden; the last generation that will ever have to sacrifice. The last to feel guilt for our beauty and our species evolutionary accomplishments. Accomplishments which mean that women are built to attract a mate. That our breasts show that we have come of age and also feed our babes. That our smiles and our eyes speak more than our words. That with the wrinkles on our skin and the silver in our hair, comes the wisdom and knowledge that lead nations and move mountains. That the power we hold in our wombs, to grow and manifest, is the closest that ‘man’ will ever come to being gods. And never, ever feel weakened by our accomplishments again.

For this is how we were always intended to be. And the power and the strength that this knowledge gives us, is the steel in our bellies. And this knowledge is what will get us through; it will get us up in the mornings and make us smile when we also weep.

For this is the gift we give our daughters. A generation of women and a generation of men that will be allowed to sit in their maidenhood, allowed to sit in their innocence always. They will never loose themselves. They will always know themselves. And the joy we will feel in our wrinkles when we smile and know. When we will smile and know that feeling the pain we have felt, the array of pain; the guilt, the shame and the servitude we once feared feeling. We once feared feeling it but we did; we felt it and cried through it, and healed through it and loved through it. And it has all been for this. Has been for this bliss.

Love as always
