All the Old Ladies; the Divine Feminine. Rise Sister Rise (3 min read)

Looking to make a start on your journey into balancing the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine? This blog is perfect with you. With Visualisation to Unify the two parts of your Being.

Now, I don’t consider myself old, but I have always been an old head on young shoulders. Boring? No. Considered? Yes. Fun? If I decide that you’re someone around which I can let rip (ok, that’s most people . . . ).

It’s a case of Maid, Mother, Crone (plus Enchantress if you are so inclined). I have always been all of those things. An elder sister, one being 17 years younger than me, and then desperation for motherhood, but always at the right time, till eventually it came. A maid, a daydreamer, but a mature child at the same time, a way of looking at the world in a very simple way. So much hate, anger, division not making the slightest bit of sense to me. My Enchantress side was not something I understood until I was well into my twenties. Having said that I always had admirers and always felt very guilty at the fact I generally didn’t fancy many guys and was shy around them.

Some of that will be my upbringing, absolutely no doubt. Some of that was always in me.

Yes, an old soul . . .

I’m not going to bleat on about that being something new. I’m come across Brethren every day, or should I say Sisters. Strong, independent, beautiful, ‘flawed’ women.

Now is the time for the planet to be brought back into balance. Many souls who previously would have led Ancient communities as men or women (let’s face it, the Celts and previous didn’t care about what hung between your legs, as long as you had the right heart for the job). All returning now. But as women.

The planet has been using it’s brain’s left side for far too long. Acting before thinking, logic before gut, science before spirit, practicality before creativity, war before community.

Now this isn’t a man bash; plenty of men about who are using that wonderful right side of their brain fully at the moment too. Men who embrace their femininity without feeling emasculated.

However, it is the women who are leading. That’s important. As the balance needs to be redressed. That doesn’t mean dominance, it means partnership in it’s truest sense.

I, as well as they, have come across both males and females who have a problem with it. Even those in spiritual camps who profess to be something else. I have come to the hard conclusion that they are welcome to it. If it makes them feel more important to push others down in order to feel better about themselves, or in order to elevate their own status, then they need help and healing. I don’t think I’ll ever stop being hurt by it, but it’ll get easier to deal with.

It’s important that these often mis-judged women are healers, bell ringers, the wise ones, teachers and community leaders.

It’s important that the balance is readdressed, not just for balance in society on a global scale, but also for balance on a much more fundamental level. And of course I’m talking about the oldest gal of all.

We are here to bring forth Mother Nature, to bring her back into the fold. Even on a religious aspect, we have focused on the male energies in many of the larger religions. God as a man, as a strict father figure, as a chastiser and protector. Yes, the Source of All that we call God, is all of those things, but he also has a soft bosom in which to be enveloped, a wicked laugh and loins as big as, well, a planet.

This side is fully embodied in the planet herself. That screaming, crying, hormonal, ever changing, Maid, Mother, Crone, Enchantress. I don’t mean to belittle femininity into those detrimental terms. What I do mean is that she is at crisis point.

Imagine yourself at your lowest ebb, reaching out to your children while weeping in the night and getting the occasional response, while all around you are bleeding from wounds, made by those same children.

She isn’t tripping the light fandango (as my mother would say) on a Saturday night, in her best heels and with a glass of bubbly in her hand. She isn’t laying on the beech with a cool drink under a sun shade, with her children playing around her. She isn’t sat in the centre of the community, with all her children surrounding her, working with her and planning for THEIR future.

We need to get her back to that. And we can only do this by being the best, strongest, embracing females that we can be. By being the cuddliest, silliest and most caring males that we can be. By bridging the gap between male and female and also between the Heavens and the Earth.

I’ve been made very aware that part of this is not just embracing the feminine in society, but in religion. And that means by bringing nature into every holy place, by letting women lead religious society just as much as men, by getting back to our natural place.

By embracing the Moon and the Sun; the Sun being our direct access to the Central Sun, or Source, or  God. The Moon with her ever changing cycle, with her craters and her beautiful light, with her skinny days at the beginning and the end, and her big fat abundance at the height of her powers.

Imagine yourself as having the eternity sign, the old symbol for  the Holy Spirit uniting the two sides of your brain.

Imagine a beam of light, drawing you out as the perfect connection between the Earth and the Heavens.

Whether you visualise this or meditate on it regularly, or use while healing yourself and others, I sincerely hope you find this a practical way of bringing your energies into balance. In balancing yourself, we’ll eventually balance the planet.

I’m going to talk in few days about how I very practically try to bring my respect for Mother Nature into my life, which was my original intention for this blog (funny how spirit take over!), but that’s more than enough for now.

Love, passion and a great big fuzzy hug in your day.
