Introducing the Leprechaun; find your Spiritual pot of gold! (6 min read)
A real introduction to this mythical being, how he works with us Spiritually and a beautiful, inspirational, channelled message from him, to you.
How I met him
Right, so let’s get this straight. I am not talking about the fella off the Lucky Charms box.
If any of you have watched American Gods (and I would highly recommend it!) then you will know that the Leprechaun is much, much more than that.
They were originally attributed to be water sprites, an energy akin to the pixie. They are great allies to those that nurture the planet, and respect the old ways. In other words; those that know their real folklore.
For me he is more like the elves we see in Lord of the Rings, then the pixies they are often depicted as. He is a kin to the Banshee, and there is a sense that he is the masculine to their feminine.

Just under 5 years I bought a green, Celtic marble crystal dowser, chosen by my son, of course! (He is a Dylan after all!). I learned quickly it was very powerful and not for checking my clients chakras! It was happiest doing heavy work; shutting down portals, removing attachments, ancestral work; the list was endless. I would sometimes ask if it was happy to work with certain people and it would say no! How rude! One day the end chipped and I was devastated. I asked if it was happy to work still; it replied it was happier this way. Not forged into a shape which was not of it’s choosing. But slightly rough around the edges. When feeling into this moment, I became aware of the energy of the dowser; is that a leprechaun? I felt foolish talking to anyone; it seemed too cliche. But this dowser is still, one of the most powerful tools I have. The more I worked with it, the closer my connection.
So, I have been working with the leprechaun, consciously, for nearly 5 years now.
Who is heand how does he work with us?
His energy aligns very much to that old tinker Loki, but with a fierce protection which is also Thor. He is a bringer of luck and fortune, but only to the true of heart. That pot of gold at the end of the rainbow cannot be reached by chasing the rainbow itself; silly pipe dreams which are not our own and focusing on the material are not the pathway.
The rainbow itself represents all aspects of God’s glory, or Source Energy. All the wisdom within it. The Seven Rays of the Christed Consciousness; our access way to our true selves.
When we have healed ourselves wholly; when we our on the pathway, living our own personal wisdom which is a combination of both our emotional and logical truth, only then will our fortune be revealed to us.
He is a God, and believe me he is, who when embraced the correct way, shows us the joy of a path through embracing chaos. Through fiercely loving yourself and those that you call kin. Through fighting your last dying breath for love; as he would do for you.
He gives you the time and space to find your passion; a passion for you. You are the window. You are the door. You are the pathway to your own future. You don’t need to do anything but believe wholly and truly in you; the rest is self trust that the next foot forward will land in the right place.
Don’t call on him if you aren’t serious. Don’t call on him if you only want half measures; a full shot of whiskey for him please!! You want something, he is going to jump in the deep end right with you. But you are going to get where you need to go. As with all Nature spirits, he will not work with those that have no respect for nature, who are focused on the material, or who do not wish to do the dirty work they must in order to stand in their truth.

I will share with you in later blogs how he has helped me with healing personally and how he can help you too.
Channelled Message
This is a channelling directly from him.
It is not clear. He does not reveal himself in full; he does not need to stand in the limelight to be recognised. And he is not serious; so don’t expect it! He epitomises his roles as the Story Teller and the Riddler! But also that true sense of someone who will hold space for you, in a way which not let you fall, but not over power or over shadow you.
That Masculine energy which is so extreme in it’s nature, the hero, but still so balanced. Removing the toxicity in the masculine that wishes to protect and serve; that makes promises which are not binding. But instead are supportive and bows down to the magnificence of the feminine which is on all of us and in him.
But what it is, is beautiful. Fun! And very inspirational. And clearly tells more than a moral tale.
Find my interpretation below;
“I am a lumberjack. The Banshee brings me to the outside and I come inside.
There is cold and the wood burns. I have no memory.
I am warmed and my feelings return but I am a blank slate. I have forgotten who I am.
Never dare to dwell on the past. It only burns you. Warm your hands by the fire and on your coffee cup.
You’ll never be who you were. You are only who you are becoming.
Never the twain shall meet.
I bring you luck. Joy and luck. This is yours. Hold it to your heart and know your luck has returned.
There is not place I’ll not go. There is no place that I’ll be.
I am in the wild woods and the open planes.
Call on me when you need a friend.
The Bowman of Lock Lomond”
The Spiritual message of leaving the past behind you is a truth which has haunted me so much. I struggle to get upset by much, so when I am hurt, it is like a dagger in my heart. And I have spent the last few years removing those daggers, and ensuring I do not collect anymore. This truth of forgiveness and letting go of the past being freeing and deeply healing has been drummed into me over the last few years.
But there feels like a real world truth for him too. I know when he spoke to me, who he was. And that is was not the Bowman of Loch Lomond; the lyrical nature of that phase only coming into awareness once I read it out loud! But he has been forgotten. His true nature being greatly misunderstood and intentionally misconstrued by the church and the English, in an attempt to bring the Irish into a controllable fold, by detaching them from their true nature.
As the Irish moved away from their Gods and folklore they forgot who they were. And as they reclaimed their freedom from the English and more recently from the church, he has been able to step forward and reconnect in an authentic way. You’ll hear me say time and time again, when we step into our creative mind, we connect into our subconscious (fact; read my blog about channelled writing here) and so writers connect into Universal wisdom; script writers just as much as any. Again, the wonderful American Gods, came at a fortuitous time during this transition for the Irish. The Leprechaun wants to be heard again; wants to be seen. Wants to be remembered for everything that he is. And there really is a sense that he has indeed been left alone in the wild wood, and brought back into the warmth again; through the rise of the Divine Feminine.
And the glory of his undying, and empowering, support in all his pure simplicity.
I would love to hear your thoughts, and if you would like to hear more from him, please sign up on the right to get notified when I blog next!
Love as always
